Get To Know Me & Who I'm Looking For
Introduction
I'm a healthy, reasonably fit, well educated, emotionally solid, down to earth, honest, fun-loving, warm, and romantic guy (phew!). I'm "aged", but not "old".... other than in the chronological sense. I haven't let myself go to pot (pun intended), I have a good sense of humor, I like to be needed rather than be "needy", I live for the future and not in the past, I think positively, I'm very open-minded and flexible, and I think it's better to listen than to preach. But I have to admit that I tend to be pretty old fashioned and hold fast to the "Old West" values. I'm more a home body than a socialite. Some of my interests are -- horses, riding, rodeos, boating and canoeing, travel, fishing, travel, movies, good food, and.... I've never gotten into casual sex and don't plan to. I bought my 30 acre "ranch" when I retired from teaching. I now share it with my 22 horses. . I prefer taking the driver's seat in a relationship. I like to nurture, protect, mentor, and "foster". (NO, I don't mean be a "sugar daddy".) My "Mr. Right" isn't looking for a relationship just so he can have "rumpy pumpy". And neither am I. Basically, what I want is emotional intimacy (love, support and deep affection) with some physical intimacy added. So, this is about two emotionally attached men who appreciate the male body, bonding with each other. So, "the attraction" has to be there. And, in my case, that means at least a weight within the range recommended by a wt/ht chart, and a decent face. My being attracted to "a well cared for body" leads to my being more drawn to younger guys. After that first impression, I start to sense the "make of the man". I prefer a "soft" personality, i.e. a guy who is low-key, relaxed, patient, modest, and sensitive. Submissive guys are fine. (But that doesn't mean "feminine".) Honesty and openness are necessities. Other "positives" are being romantic, unselfish, optimistic, well adjusted, masculine, and down-to-earth. Do I want "Mr. Perfect"? No. This is just my "wish list".
